Tony Allen Brooks
April 3rd, 1962 - January 13th, 2024
Tony Allen Brooks, age 61 of LaBelle, Florida passed away at home on January 13, 2024. Tony was born on April 3, 1962, in South Haven, Michigan to the late Alvie Roy and Mildred Frances Howe Brooks. He married Cheryll Ann Smith on April 4, 1987, in LaBelle, Florida. To this union there are two daughters and one stepdaughter. Tony worked for many years as a carpenter before becoming disabled and not being able to continue his profession. Tony enjoyed riding motorcycles, shopping for antiques, making jewelry and finding gemstones. He was a member of the American Legion Post 130 of LaBelle. Tony enjoyed spending time with his wife and his family, he will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Tony leaves fond memories with his loving wife; Cheryll Ann Brooks of LaBelle, mother; Mildred Frances Brooks of South Haven, Michigan, Daughters; Danielle Brooks-Jones of Lehigh Acres, April Brooks of LaBelle and Teresa Lampp of Jacksonville. He also leaves behind ten grandchildren and three sisters, Edith Brooks, Tammy Viganski, and Judy Raymond. Tony’s life will be celebrated on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Central Church with Pastor Mitchell Wills officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service also at the church. Tony will be laid to rest at Fort Denaud Cemetery – LaBelle. Celebration of life arrangements are being handled by Akin-Davis Funeral Home –LaBelle.
