Tony R. Howell, 47, husband of Julia Carol McIntosh Howell, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Baptist Health in Lexington. He was born March 23, 1971 in Wytheville, Virginia to Charles and Pansy Flanagan Howell. Tony was a 10-year employee of The American Red Cross Wheels division. He loved trucks, watching NASCAR, enjoyed traveling, flea markets, and photography with his wife. He was a member of Ellers Memorial Baptist in Harrodsburg. In addition to his wife Julia, he is survived by his step-children, James Daniel Sloan, David Matthew (Meagan) Sloan, and Angela Carol Sloan; sister, Victoria Howell; brother, Michael (Michelle) Howell, Sr.; grandchildren, Cayden Bradshaw, Caitlynn Bradshaw, Cooper Sloan, Gracie Sloan, Nicholas Sloan, Olivia Rapier and Stacey Rapier; nieces and nephews, Brittney Howell, Pamela Cardwell, Jordan Cardwell, Michael Howell Jr., Caleb (Cassie) Zitter, and Charlie Zitter, and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Funeral will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing with a visitation from 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Red Cross and/or Camp Jean Dog Rescue (Jean Gibowski).
