Tonya Young

Our beloved Tonya Renee Young died peacefully on the evening of February 12, 2020. She was surrounded by her loving family. We miss her dearly every day and were fortunate to have had the precious time with her that we had. Tonya could be quiet and reserved at first, but she fiercely loved those close to her. She also fiercely loved children of any type, with very little ones and those with special needs being especially close to her heart. Everyone she loved was better for that love. Tonya is survived by her husband, Matt; her siblings Kent, Kelly, Shaun, Steve, and Jeremy; her Aunt Marcie; her in-laws, Dan and Diane; multiple nieces and nephews; her stepchildren Dallas and Nick; her family by choice Finley, Bodhi, Liv, Mike, and Megan; and friends far too numerous to count. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating either to the Community Care Collective or to Elevation Hospice in Tonya’s name. Tonya found a lot of pain and symptom relief from the Community Care Collective, and we also support the collective's mission to meet the needs of underserved members of the community.
