Tracy George Fink of Salinas, CA (Age 45) passed away on November 15, 2020 following a brief illness with his wife and close friend Jason by his side. Tracy was born on December 26, 1974 to parents Diedrich & Catherine. Tracy was a door & window salesperson with Hayward Lumber. Tracy enjoyed coaching football, watching the Minnesota Vikings and SF Giants. Tracy not only loved watching football and baseball, he loved watching Super Cross. Tracy loved mountain biking with his close friends Oscar, David, Nick and Ryan. The guys gave him the nickname of "Fink" or "Trail DJ" while they were riding in Ft. Ord. He was also a graduate of North Monterey County High School and Hartnell College. If Tracy wasn’t watching sports or riding his bike, he would spend time with his wife and their friends. They would gather at their home and BBQ and catch up over the fire pit. Tracy was an Elks Member of the Salinas Lodge #614. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Ocampo-Fink, his son Christian Fink, his beloved dog Bronson, parents: Diedrich & Joy Fink, Dan & Catherine Lindstrom, brothers Troy (Nicole), Dustin (Kerry) and sister Heather (Bryan). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews. Tracy was a devoted Husband, Father, Son, Brother and Uncle. He was loved by so many people and will be greatly missed by everyone he came into contact with. Due to Covid-19, no services are being held at this time. Once large gatherings are allowed, we’ll host a Celebration of Life for Tracy. You can contact Melissa at [email protected] to be notified when the Celebration of Life will be held.

Healey Mortuary

At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
