Obituary Travis Bruce, 49, the loving husband of Denise Bruce, died Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at his home in Lexington, KY. He was born, February 23, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Curtis Linville Bruce and Mary Jo Clark Waters. Travis served in the Army and was an exercise jockey, and had the honor of riding such horses as Secretariat and Seattle Slew. In addition to horses, Travis loved his family, UK Basketball, Eagles and Wolves. Besides his wife Denise, Travis is survived by three sons, Travis Curt "TC" Fain, Brian Richard Fain, and Wesley Hagenbach, all of Lexington; his sister, Janie Vogt, North Carolina; two brothers, Ricky and Danny Bruce, both of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Austin and Chelsea Fain; his step-father, Roger Waters, McCreary CO., KY; two step-sons, Bradley and Christopher Boyd; his niece, LaDonna Hurd; nephew, Chris Bruce; 2 great nieces, Kaitlyn Hurd and Amber Bruce; 2 great nephews, Chris Hurd and Austin Bruce; and loving and faithful dog, Nikki. Funeral Information A Memorial Service will be planned for a later date.
