Warner Robins- Travis Leon Kay Sr., 69, passed away peacefully at Houston Medical Center on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. Travis Kay was born on November 22, 1946 in Gadsden Alabama to the late Edward and Lure Kay. He joined the United States Navy during the Vietnam War Era and retired as Master Chief Petty Officer, working in a military security. He was an active member of Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church where the fellowship and support of Father Matt Harlow and the congregation means a great deal to him. Travis is survived by his daughter, Melissa Kay Haskell (James); his brother, James Kay (Brenda); his brother, Tim Kay; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Elaine Bruce Kay; his son, Travis Leon Kay, Jr. “T.J.”; and his daughter, Brandi Noel Kay. There will be a visitation at Heritage Memorial Funeral, 710 Carl Vinson Parkway in Warner Robins from 12:00PM to 2:00PM on Monday, March 28, 2016. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 2:00PM at Magnolia Park Cemetery, 205 South Pleasant Hill Road in Warner Robins. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church, 2815 US Highway 41 North, Fort Valley, GA. 31030.
