Treva D. Maybon

November 3rd, 1930 - April 25th, 2013

T. Delores Maybon, of Homedale, was born to Oma and Clyde Hutton on November 3, 1930 in Custer City, Oklahoma. At the age of 14 with 4 brothers, one sister and parents, the family packed up with big dreams of moving to Alaska. The family found their little piece of paradise in the Lakeview area of Nampa. She met the love of her life, Gale Edward Maybon, on a beautiful summers day. They settled on a farm west of Homedale, were happily married for 49 years and were blessed with three children. Throughout her life Delores found lots of joy raising her family. After the children had left the house she filled her days working by her husband’s side at Carnation. Delores cared for many people, but her grandchildren always filled a special place in her heart. Most weekends on their farm the house was filled with the noises of her grandchildren and immersed in the aroma of homemade bread and cinnamon rolls. Her love and joy grew with the addition of each great-grandchild. An important part of her life was being a great role model for her family, teaching them to be hard workers, fair minded - honest people and to enjoy every moment of every day. The Lord called her home the way she had lived, peacefully surrounded by family in a home filled with love, laughter of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the fragrance of freshly baked cinnamon rolls. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses for all their help and compassion along with her many friends throughout the years. Her husband, Gale Maybon preceded her in death along with her parents, Oma and Clyde Hutton, sister, Kitty, brothers: Hank, Clyde and Pal Hutton. She is survived by her children, Larry (Marilyn) Maybon of Homedale, Sandra (Mike) Bishop of Seattle, Susan (Tom) Bevan of Boise. Grandkids: Bruce (Kathy) Maybon of Las Vegas, Lisa (Josh) Maybon Smith of Boise, Shawn (MariJo) Maybon of Caldwell, Thomas (Lisa) Bevan of Billings, Mary (Derek) Bevan Murphy of Burley her great-grandchildren: Thomas and Manzo Bevan, Alexis and Savannah Maybon, Samantha and soon baby Marcus Maybon and her brother and sister Butch (Karen) Hutton and Janice Reams along with numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend the celebration of Delores’ life on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Parma Revival Church, 100 W Ross Ave., Parma, ID 83660, burial at Marsing-Homedale Cemetery and dinner to follow at Homedale Senior Center. Delores was a very special person. Everytime we talked to her it was like a breath of fresh air. She always was very pleasant and caring person to be around. Every single time that I visited with her she always mentioned to me how she knew how much my wife Jolene ment to me. We will miss her at our family get togethers, birthdays, Thankgivings, and Christmas. We love you Delores. Bob and Jolene Bevan
