Trevor Ralph Douglas Trent

Trevor Ralph Douglas Trent, 32, of Edgewood, NM, passed away on July 7, 2022, peacefully in his home. Born January 10, 1990, in Honolulu, HI. He was the son of Jay Loyd Trent of Las Cruces, NM, and Tammy Ellen Simmons of Edgewood, NM. He spent his younger life growing up in San Diego, CA, where he found his love in family, friends, and learning. He loved to read and take in as much knowledge the world had to offer. His later teenage and adult years were spent in the Edgewood/Albuquerque area where he continued to lovingly pursue his friends, family, and passion for learning. After graduating from Moriarty High School in 2008, he continued his education at the University of New Mexico, earning his CNA. Trevor found his calling for his special gift in aiding the elderly and their much-needed love, support, and care. He worked independent home care until 2017, where he got the job of his dreams, working at Mayberry LLC in Albuquerque, where he gave much of his love, life, and passion to the clients and workplace. He always helped those in need and loved his career deeply for that reason. It gave him great purpose. Trevor was an adventurous soul. He loved traveling, hiking, going out with friends, and dancing. He was always willing to seek out new adventures. He loved his dog, Georgia, and his family and friends. Trevor was loved and respected by all that knew him. Friends and family left behind will always be missing a bright part of their lives. He will be greatly missed by all who was blessed enough to know him. Trevor was predeceased by his Grandmother Phyllis V Simmons, Waldoboro, ME, and Grandfather Harold Douglas Trent, Sandia Park, NM. Aunt Vicky L Simmons, Waldoboro, ME, and cousins Melinda M Guptill and James (Bub) Guptill of Waldoboro, ME. He is survived by his Grandfather Ralph A. Simmons Jr, Waldoboro, ME, and Grandmother Cora Gail Gunn Johnson from Silverton, TX., Father Jay L. Trent of Las Cruces, NM, and Mother Tammy E Simmons and Partner Cory, L Neher of Edgewood, NM., Brother Ryan H. Trent and his wife Rachel M. Trent and his two precious nieces, Jordyn and Parker of Las Cruces, NM. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A special thanks from the family and Trevor to Mayberry LLC and Staff and to his “Friends for life,” Paige, Heather, Will, Ethan, Jenn, and Ryan E. Their bond they all shared shall never be broken, he loved all of you very much. Please pray for the healing and peace for all he left behind. Cremation services were held by Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque. A celebration of Trevor’s life will be August 6, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Mayberry, LLC, 5528 Eubank Blvd, Albuquerque, NM. Private burial service will be held at Shuman Cemetery, Waldoboro, ME, at a later date. His Celebration of Life Services will be officiated by Tom Rawley (Waldoboro, ME) of Albuquerque, NM.
