Trina Louise Drown, age 52, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023 at her mothers home in Caldwell, Idaho after a courageous battle against metastatic breast cancer. She ended her days in the care of her loving family. Trina is survived by her husband, Darrell Drown, mother, Janet Pendleton, sister Stacey (Randy) Dye, brothers Clint (Melody) Pendleton and Steven (Noelle) Pendleton all of Caldwell, Idaho, as well as 3 nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Rodney Jay Pendleton, grandparents Jim and Lucille Cox, and Verrell and Verneal Pendleton. Trina was born December 30, 1970 in Caldwell, Idaho. She graduated from Caldwell High School in 1989, married Darrell Drown in 1991 and together they created their mixed family of horses, Golden Retrievers, kittens, roosters, a donkey and Petey the Dachshund. Trina’s dream of a ranch was fulfilled when she and Darrell purchased their acreage outside of Caldwell and named it after her first horse, Stormy Acres. She was employed at United Parcel Service (UPS) for 20+ years. Trina had many friends in the horse community and they took hundreds of rides together all over Idaho and places on the Oregon Coast. She had an adventurous spirit and invited both friends and family to participate in her adventures which included camping, horseback riding trips, ATV riding, paddle boating and zip lining. Trina became a mentor to her nieces who shared the love of horses and created an unbreakable bond which kept them by her side until the end. A celebration of life service for Trina is scheduled for August 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel at 624 Cleveland Blvd in Caldwell, Idaho. Friends and family are welcome. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation at komen.org.
