Troy Michael Davis
November 5th, 1968 - May 12th, 2023
Troy Michael Davis, 54, of Stokesdale, NC passed away on May 12, 2023. Troy was born to Cheri (Ford) Davis and Ronald Davis in Reading, PA on November 5, 1968. He graduated from Governor Mifflin High School in Reading, PA in 1986 then completed his Associate’s Degree at Lincoln Technical Institute in Allentown, PA. Troy was employed as a layout design engineer at Spreadtrum in High Point, NC. He spent 35 years working in his field, and was very passionate about his work. Troy was compassionate and incredibly hardworking. Despite being ill with SLE for the majority of his life, he refused to allow his illness to hold him back from advancing in his field or providing for his family. He was a loving and kind individual to all that knew him. Troy’s loss will be felt by many and he is deeply missed. Troy is survived by his loving wife, Michelle (Nigrelli) Davis; his daughter, Nicole Davis; his son, Kyle Davis; his sister, Kimberly (Davis) Gottschall; his brother-in-law Dave Gottschall; and his niece, Aimee (Yoder) Pruitt. The family held a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Kidney Fund, American Heart Association, or to the Lupus Foundation of America.
