Warner Robins, GA- Sharon Rene Tyus, 56, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 13, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, January 19, 2018 in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held Monday at Georgia Veterans Cemetery in Milledgeville. Pastor Jordan Poole of Hope Church will officiate. Ms. Tyrus was born November 30, 1961 in Reevesville, South Carolina to Nathaniel James and Betty Bradley Jordan. She proudly served her country in the United States Air Force and retired after 24 years of honorable service as a Traffic Management Craftsman. She was a member of Hope Church where she volunteered to help at local Nursing Homes and she loved working in the Food Pantry at the church. Sharon loved people and people loved her and it showed in her daily walk with her Lord and Savior. In her spare time she loved exercising at the gym. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend who will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Bradley Jordan. Her memory will forever be cherished by her daughters, Namia Tyus and Tyra Tyus; sister, Shandra Bradley; cousins, Darlene Burnett; Leonard Bradley; Josephine James; best friends, Erica Squires; Tammy Horsey Speight; Shavone Williams and numerous friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made towards Ms. Tyus services.
