Tucker David Harley

December 24th, 1990 - May 21st, 2023

Tucker David Harley, 32, of Columbia, SC passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday morning, May 21, 2023. Born on December 24, 1990, in Lexington, SC, he was the son of Lynn Williams and David Harley. A survivor of childhood cancer, Tucker was a 2011 graduate of Irmo High School. Tucker was known to all as having a great sense of humor, someone who cared deeply for his friends and family, and being a lover of animals – especially his beloved dog, Lela and his toads, Trailer Trash Tammy and Medusa. Tucker enjoyed music, collecting football figurines, playing cards, and wrestling. He also loved The Power Rangers, chili cheeseburgers, Mountain Dew: Code Red, video games, building model cars, and braiding his fiancée Tammy’s hair. One of Tucker’s most cherished things in life was his close relationship with his mom, Lynn. Tucker is survived by his mother, Lynn Williams of Columbia; father, David Harley of Lexington; fiancée, Tammy Anna Pugh of Pelion; brother, Mitchell Harley of Columbia; half-sister, Emerson Harley of Lexington; maternal grandfather, Jerry Williams of Columbia; aunt, Stacy Bouknight of Gaston; cousin, Bear Bouknight of Red Bank; fur baby, Lela; and many friends and loved ones who will miss him dearly. Tucker was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Patricia Brown Williams; and paternal grandparents, Harry and Minnie Harley. A celebration of Tucker’s life will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Red Bank Community Center located at 228 Community Drive, Lexington, SC 29073. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or online at stjude.org. Having been a patient there himself, Tucker knew first-hand the benefits of their research and specialized care.
