Twila Faye Repp
September 29th, 1936 - April 6th, 2024
Twila Faye Repp (nee Sarutzki) of Menno, SD, passed away on April 6, 2024, in Eugene, OR, at the age of 87. Twila was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend to everyone who met her.
Twila married her husband, Wes, in 1956. Their daughter, Cheri, was born in 1959. The family resided in Yankton, SD until 1984, when they relocated to Eugene, OR.
During her lifetime, Twila worked as a Production Lead at Dale Electronics in Yankton, SD, and later at Spectra Physics in Eugene, OR. She retired in 2002.
Twila's hobbies included traveling to various countries and states, spending quality time with her family, visiting the Oregon coast, outdoor activities, glamping, reading, and solving crossword puzzles. She is remembered as someone whose greatest joy came from being surrounded by loved ones, always displaying a beautiful smile and a wonderful laugh. Kind and caring, Twila's warm presence will be deeply missed.
Twila is survived by her sisters Veronica Yancey (John) and Marcy Parker (Ted), her daughter Cheri Coursey along with numerous nieces, nephews, granddaughters, and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Wesley Repp, parents Warren and Luella Marsh, Father John Sarutzki, sisters Jean (Les) Wisecarver and Marge (Doug) Burns Harrington.
A visitation will be held at noon, followed by graveside services at 1:00 on April 19, 2024, at Lane Memorial Gardens, 5300 W 11th, Eugene, OR 97402. There will be a reception following the service. If you would like, contributions in her memory can be made to Wounded Warriors or St. Joseph’s Indian School.
Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene, OR is assisting with the funeral arrangements.
