Vada Virginia Good

Vada Virginia Good, 98, of Greeley, CO passed away May 11, 2015 at Kenton Manor. She was born December 4, 1916 in Newark, OH to John and Sharlet (Gutridge) Graham. Vada grew up in Newark and graduated from Newark High School. On August 1, 1937 Vada married Paul Good in Greenup, KY. In 1941 Paul and Vada moved from Newark to Greeley. Vada was a homemaker who loved spending time outdoors with Paul and their four sons. She enjoyed playing bridge and was an avid knitter. She knitted afghan’s for all of her grandchildren. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of First Christian Church and Garden City Chapter #3 Order of Easter Star. Vada is survived by her sons, Tom (Barbara) Good and Tim (Jacque) Good of Cody, WY, Robert (Suzanne) Good of Glenville, NC, Dave (Bonnie) Good of Westminster, CO; grandchildren, Kimberly Mahosky, Tami Hodge, Brooke Good, Michelle (Travis) Ball, Jon (Sandi) Good, Jay (Leslie) Good, Michael (Joanna) Good, Melissa (Malte Winkler) Good Winkler; 14 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Good. Visitation will be from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015 followed by funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Adamson Chapel, with graveside service at Linn Grove Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to "University of Northern Colorado Foundation” for the Good Family Scholarship Fund in care of Adamson Funeral Service, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
