Valeda Emily Strawn

Strawn, Valeda Emily, 101, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at home. She came here in 1924 from her native Elberfeld, Indiana. She was a member of First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg and a former Sunday school teacher, a member of the Women?s Missionary Society, Eureka Chapter O.E.S. #5, and Tahuti Court # 44. She was predeceased by her husband, Russel E. Strawn and son, Robert Strawn. She is survived by 2 sons, Russel W. ?Bill? Strawn & wife, Mollie of St. Pete Beach and Eldon E. ?Bud? Strawn & wife, Patricia of St. Petersburg; 8 grandchildren: Ruth Hasnedl & husband, Jerry of St. Hilaire, MN and their children, Angela & Jeremiah; Russel ?Rusty? Strawn & wife, Lara of Princeton, TX and their children, Dr. Errin Newman and Megan Gajkowski; Rebecca Wilson & husband, Fred Kopatich of Silver Spring, MD and their children, Arturo, Miguel and Ana; Robert E. ?Bob? Strawn & wife, Christy of Clearwater, FL and their children, Bret & Kyle Strawn and Stephen, Richard, Jenny, and Matt Healy; Kevin Strawn & wife, Mary Nell of Charlotte, NC and their children, Mollie Helen and Rose Marie; Heidi Jones & husband, Dr. Steven Jones of Evanston, IL and their children, Emelia and Henry; Linda Fischer of Houston, TX and her children, Cristiana and Juliana; and Janice Ann Strawn of St. Petersburg.
