Loving Wife and Mother Age 49 of Hugo Preceded in death by father, Edmund Brandt; mother, Sharon Brandt; and uncle, Bob Koch. Survived by husband, Richard; children, Mitchell and Madison; brother, Eddie Brandt; aunts, JoAnn Keller (Ron) and Carla Koch; bff, Julie Shappell. Val was an Army Veteran. She loved being with her family and friends. She enjoyed crafting and her work at Ramsey County as a dispatcher. Funeral Service Friday (June 23, 2017) 1:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul. Visitation from 11:00 until time of service. Valerie had such a love of laughter. She touched the lives of everyone she met. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to shewillfight.com.
