VALLORRIE NESBIT PARKER March 2, 1953 - August 18, 2013 It is with great sadness that the family of Vallorrie "Lorrie" Nesbit Parker announces her peaceful passing on Sunday, August 18, 2013 with her husband and son by her side. She was born in Tacoma, WA. to Barbara and Jack 'Bud' Nesbit and raised in Pleasant Hill, CA where she attended Oak Park and Pleasant Hill Elementary schools, Pleasant Hill Intermediate and Pleasant Hill High School (71), and received her degree in Psychology from Sacramento State University. She moved to Maui and met the love of her life, Eric Parker. She is preceded in death by her sister Vicki, and father Bud Nesbit. She will be forever remembered by her devoted husband of twenty-seven years, Eric, and loving son Ian Parker of San Jose, her mother Barbara Nesbit of Pleasant Hill, brother John (Peggy) Nesbit of Concord, sisters Leslie Scatena of Pleasant Hill, and Jodi (Eddie) Mulder of Littlerock, CA. Nephew James (Charlene) Nesbit, and nieces Natalie Nesbit, and Micquela and Taglia Scatena. She will also be held in the hearts of her many relatives and dear friends. Lorrie was an accomplished quilter and craftswoman who enjoyed hiking and nature, reading and travelling. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 7, at Hacienda de las Flores, 2100 Donald Drive, Moraga at 11:00 a.m. Casual attire. Burial will be private. Memorial gifts in her memory can be made to your charity of choice.
