Vanessa Judy Bernadette Gutierrez

Vanessa Gutierrez our beloved Daughter, Sister & Auntie was suddenly called home to be with our Lord on April 11, 2021. Vanessa was born on May 13, 1982 (38) in Albuquerque, New Mexico and spent most of her career in the hospitality business. She loved spending her time with family, friends and at the casino. Although her passing may have come unexpectedly to us, we will miss her dearly and not a day will go by without thinking of her wonderful smile and strong-willed spirit. Vanessa was deeply loved by her family & friends as she loved her family more than anything in the world, she would always take the time to play with her nieces and nephews, attend their events, and teasing them. She was known to drown them with unconditional love & affection. She was immensely proud of her family and was the simplest person to talk too, making friends no matter where she went. She was sure to leave you with something to hang your hat on, she was the life of the party and was never afraid to speak her mind. Vanessa never cared about what she had and would offer you the shirt off her back. She would go without to make sure you had what you need and never asked for anything in return. Anything she gave was a gift but the best gift she gave are the memories that we can cherish until we get to meet and laugh with her again. Vanessa is accompanied in death by her Father's parents, Santos & Bobbie Gutierrez, and her Mother's parents Juan & Deluvina Garcia, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is survived by her Father and Mother Clarence and Roberta Gutierrez, Brother Chris and wife Crystal, Brother Joseph and Brianna, 2 nieces Alyssa and Marisol, 4 nephews Chris, Eric, Marcus and Damacio, many Uncles, Aunts, cousins and 1 beloved dog Milo. Due to COVID-19 protocols flowers will not be accepted at the church. Any donations will be appreciated by the family. Services are scheduled for Thursday May 13, 2021 at 9:00 A.M. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, 5415 Fortuna Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87105
