Velma F Williams

Velma Dorothy Williams, 81 of Rockledge, passed away peacefully October 11, 2017 in Winter Spring, Florida. Velma was born in Thorpe, WV on December 24, 1935. She is predeceased by her parents Alva and Maude (David) Frazier and her late husband of 45 years Joseph Bruce Williams of Rockledge, Florida and son Joseph Bruce Williams, Jr. of St. Cloud Florida. Velma was retired from Harris Corporation of 28 years and after retirement went to work at Publix for 7 years. She raised three children and was dedicated mom and grandmother. Visitation will be held at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, 5400 Village Drive, Rockledge, FL 32955, on Sunday October 15, 2017 at 2pm – 4pm. Family services will be held at Florida National Cemetery Monday October 16, 2017 at 2pm. Velma is survived by her two daughters, Chris (Mikels) Duvall husband Robert Duvall, Cathy (Mikels) Mizelle husband Keith Mizelle. Grandchildren Stephenie (Duvall) Lauer and Farouk Hammachi. Jennifer (Duvall) Cardile husband TJ Cardile. Allison (Mizelle) Guthrie husband Michael Guthrie, Amber (Mizelle) Coad husband Christopher Coad, and Bryant Mizelle. Great-grand children Zachary Lauer (11) Joshua Lauer (10), Hogan Cardile (12), Riley Cardile (10), Colton Coad (3) and Clayton Coad (1). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Comforter, Attn: Foundation, 480 W. Central Parkway, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.
