Vera Mae Heitman passed away on October 15, 2015. She was born on October 14, 1915 in Los Angeles, CA.She was preceded in death by her husband Rupert (Newt) Heitman and her son Gary Heitman.She leaves behind two sons, Bill Heitman with daughter Kristen and Eric Heitman with sons Gavin, Geoff, E.G., and Ryan. Vera had nine grandchildren Denver, Jena, Hannah, Jake, Garrett, Clayton, Alex, Madeline and Sage.Vera and her husband, Newt, ran Clinton's Shoe store for 20 years in Riverbank, CA. They moved to Yuba City, CA, in 1988 to be closer to their family.Inurnment will be private. Memorials may be made to the Northern California Shriners Hospital for Children , 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95817
