July 15th, 1931 - April 27th, 2017
SCHAMBERG, Vernell Mae, 85, of Tampa, Florida passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017. She was born in Tampa; was a graduate of Hillsborough High School and retired after many years in sales. Vernell had a passion for singing and was a longtime member of the Tampa Belles. She is preceded in death by both of her sons, Lynwood and Andrew Burbage; and her sister, Frances. Vernell is survived by her brother, Dick Burbage and wife, Joyce; daughter-in-law, Betty Burbage; granddaughter, Kelly Green and husband, Eric; four great grandchildren, Julie, Siena, Michael, Clarissa; and best friend since childhood, Betty Johnson; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members and her friends at Angels Senior Living. A Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 6th at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
