Veronica Maryann Martinez

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Veronica Maryann Martinez, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and cherished friend. Veronica departed this world on July 29, 2024, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, surrounded by the love and comfort of those dearest to her heart.

Veronica was born on December 10, 1964, in Del Norte, Colorado. She had a large and loving family. 

Veronica's greatest joy was her daughter, Christina Martinez. Those who had the privilege of knowing Veronica were touched by her warm heart. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Martinez; and her brother, Chris Garcia. 

Veronica is survived by her loving daughter, Christina Martinez; her parents, Cora and Jonny Garcia; her sister, Lorrie Martinez; her brother, Matthew Garcia; Emarosa, Jaden, and Jordan, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service to honor Veronica's life will be held at the Hillside Community Center, 925 S. Institute St., Colorado Springs, Colorado, on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 12:00PM. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather to celebrate her life and share in the memories of a remarkable woman who touched so many lives.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to her family through their GoFundMe page, allowing them to navigate these difficult times.

Veronica Maryann Martinez’s legacy is one of boundless generosity, steadfast love, and quiet strength. While she has left this earthly realm, her spirit continues to inspire and uplift, a testament to a life well-lived and profoundly treasured. Rest in peace, dear Veronica.
