Vicki Rae Howard

Vicki Rae Inskeep-Howard, age 71, passed away February 14, 2021. She was born May 9, 1949 in Sterling, Colorado to Faye Lucille Hand-Inskeep and Vernon Roberts "Bob” Inskeep. She grew up in Sterling, Colorado, graduating from High School in 1967. She also attended Northeastern Junior College and Colorado State University. Vicki married John Anthony Howard on April 7, 1969 in Fort Collins, CO. Vicki and John had 2 children, Linda Rae and Nancy Naomi. She was married to Chris Pawling for three years. Vicki was known for her chosen profession as a baker, working hard as a single mom, to raise her two girls. She worked for Poudre R1 School District and Sam’s Club as well as other places. Vicki continued her love for baking in retirement, sharing her baked goods with others. Vicki also enjoyed playing cards, camping, the mountains, getting in her steps, taking cruises, her plants, and of course, M&M’s. She also loved cats and was very attached to her last cat, named Cognac. Vicki’s first love was to serve her God, Jehovah, being baptized on October 31st, 1971 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was a Bible educator and arranged her schedule to be in the full time ministry for almost 26 years. She believed the Bible’s command at Matthew 24:14 to preach the good news and maintained a strict schedule speaking to someone about God almost every day. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Vernon "Skip” Inskeep. She is survived by her Sister, Diana Smith, Linda and Stan Sadusky, Nancy and Jeremy Bustad, as well as her grandchildren Tyler, Lauren and Ryan.
