Vicki Moore Strickland

Obituary Vicki Moore Strickland, 54, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Central Baptist Hospital surrounded by family and friends. She was a graduate of Henry Clay High School, Cosmetology and Nursing school; was a nurse at Lexington Clinic, and formerly employed at Breckinridge Nursing Home. She was an active member of Eastland Church of God and her Christian faith shined through her in the way she loved and cared for others. Vicki enjoyed listening to Christian music, being involved in school and church activities with her children, reading, and home decorating. She had a special place in her heart for the women in her bible study. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt. All were blessed with time shared with her and have solace knowing she is in the arms of her loving Savior. Vicki is survived by her husband, Andrew C. Strickland III; her children, Andrew Calvin Strickland IV and AnnaLisa Carter Strickland; parents Keith and Joyce Moore; sisters, Lisa Moore Fath and Staci Moore Thomsen (Todd); nieces, Farah and Victoria Fath; and nephews Price (Jennifer) and Evan Thomsen. Funeral Information Visitation will be 4-8 pm, Sunday, May 23 at Eastland Church of God on Liberty Road in Lexington, Kentucky. Funeral Service will be 10 am, Monday, May 24 at the church, officiated by Pastor Grant Horner and Minister Todd Layne. Burial will follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Casket bearers are Milt Evans, Rick Evans, Brian Evans, Gerald Evans, Chuck Moore, James Moore, Gary Coburn and Berry Griffith.
