Victor Hope Akers

Victor Hope Akers, 56, of Port Charlotte, formerly of Michigan City, IN, died after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in Punta Gorda, FL. He was Born to the late Okey Lee and Sue Ann (nee: Wheeldon) Akers on February 24, 1957 in Michigan City, IN. Moving to SW Florida in 1996 he was a active member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte, and owner and operator of Little Willies RV Resort in Arcadia. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to any Wells Fargo Bank Account number (waiting for bank info) for Victor's grandchildren's education fund. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Deborah; son, Alexander Akers and his wife Danielle; daughter, Catherine Akers Cahill and her husband Andrew; three grandchildren, Carson, Callie, and Kaden; brother, Okey Lee (Pamela) Akers; sisters, Susan (Oscar) Blue, and Dottie (Richard) Seibel; many nieces, nephews and dear friends who loved him.
