Victor Klassen

Victor Klassen died at the age of 76 in Merritt Island Florida on August 21, 2012 after battling heart disease and pulmonary complications. Born Santa Catarina, Brazil on February 28, 1936 to Margarita Krahn and Martin Klassen. Victor was a respected dentist to begin his career in Brazil and continued his practice in Evanston,Illinois. He received his dental degree from the University of Illinois. Joined by his wife, they practiced dentistry in Evanston, Illinois for the majority of his career. He provided excellence in dental care until his retirement in 2001.He was an avid windsurfer and enjoyed spending time on the water. He chose to live his retirement in Florida because he love the water and the friends who surrounded him and shared his passion for life. He shared his life built on a foundation of faith with his loving family. Victor is survived by his wife Erlene Ingrid Klassen; and his children; Vilma Blum and Erich Blum, Wilson Klassen, and Vivian Beck; his grandchildren, Brandon Blum, Jacob Blum, Victoria Blum, and Jessica Beck; and his brother Peter Klassen A memorial service will be held on August 25, 2012 Georgianna church at 11 o'clock in Merritt Island Florida.
