Victor George Russea

January 11th, 1932 - August 14th, 2024

Victor George Russea was the youngest son of the late Ephraim and Hannah Russea. He was born on January 11th, 1932, in Havana, Cuba. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Frank and Robert and two sisters, Mavis and Ida. Since his teenage years, he loved going to church. He was an active member, singing praise to God, serving and being involved in various organizations and groups. He loved to travel, cook and bake his Christmas fruitcake (taught by his mother).

He was father to Norma Paisley (deceased) from a previous relationship.

On February 28th, 1959, he married Cynthia Merle Hemmings, in London, England. He studied and worked as an electrician.

They had two daughters, Carol Patricia and Jennifer Antoinette. He worked hard to take care of his family. The family moved to Brooklyn, New York in search of better job opportunities and resided there for 18 years. In 1985, he and Cynthia moved to Florida and retired.

Through life’s ups and downs with prayer and Gods grace, he weathered the storms. On June 6th, 2024, he was diagnosed with cancer. He spent the remainder of his life at home in hospice care until God called him home. He will be mourned by his wife Cynthia, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.
