Victor Vasconcelos

Victor M Vasconcelos, 77, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away, Monday, November 12, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Victor was born in Lisbon, Portugal and married Maria Emilia Vasconcelos in 1963. Victor immigrated with his family to the United States in 1975 to pursue the American Dream for his daughters. Victor was employed at Rockbestos Wire & Cable in New Haven Connecticut for 23 years, retiring in Port Charlotte, Florida in 2002. He loved to travel and visited many wonderful locations over the years. Through his battle with Parkinson's he loved to paint and shared his memories of Portugal through his art, winning numerous ribbons for his paintings. His most valued time was spent with his children and grandchildren making memories together. He will be best remembered by his close knit family and friends as the life of the party, always ready with his contagious smile, mischievous sparkle in his eye and famous wink. Victor is survived by his wife Maria Emilia Vasconcelos, his 2 daughters, Maria Filomena Vasconcelos of Punta Gorda and Susana Orsino of Sarasota, 4 grandchildren, Victoria and Yonni Georgoulis, Joshua and Emily Orsino and his furry best friend, Nando.
