Victoria S Butler

BUTLER, Victoria S., 69 of Tampa, Florida passed away August 22, 2018. She was born in New York, New York and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1972, recently relocating to Tampa in February of this year. Victoria received her Masters at the University of South Florida and retired as a Guidance Counselor at Pinellas Technical College. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with family and friends. One of her greatest joys was attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and was an avid Rays baseball fan. Although many were not aware, Victoria was a gifted singer who performed lead roles in school productions from elementary through high school. This explains her love of show tunes, being especially fond of Barbara Streisand. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years: Harold; sons: Juan Butler, Victor Butler; sisters: Arlene Munson, Amelia Soto, Nancy Soto; two grandchildren: Jordan Butler and Jackson Butler; and nieces Dr. Alicia Gittleman and Jillian Handy and two great nieces. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
