Vincent Joseph Lozowicki

Vincent Joseph Lozowicki Vincent Joseph Lozowicki, 93, passed away on May 30, 2014 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on May 3, 1921 in Worcester, MA to Anthony and Veronika Lozowicki. Vincent grew up in Worcester, MA. He attended St. Mary's School and graduated from the former High School of Commerce in 1941. After high school he attended the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston before joining the Army Air Corp in 1943. He served as a 2nd Lieutenant Bombardier of the 2nd Air Division, 389th Bomb Group of the Eighth Air Force stationed in Norwich, England in WWII. He returned to the College of Pharmacy in 1945 and graduated in 1947 with a pharmacy degree. Vincent worked in pharmaceutical sales in West Virginia until 1957 when he moved to Baltimore, MD and began a career as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Narcotics under the U.S. Treasury Department, that later became the Drug Enforcement Administration under the U.S. Justice Department. He retired in 1977 and began a second career as a Pharmacist for Walgreen stores in Brevard County, FL from October 1977 and retired again in July 2006. Vince was a member of the Cocoa Beach Citizen's League, Association of Former Federal Agents, the 398th Bomb Group Association and his Condo Associations. Vincent married Carroll Arrowood in 1954 in Charleston, West Virginia. They were happily married for 59 years. He enjoyed living along the Banana River, where he boated, fished, cooked his catch, and watched the sunset. He loved traveling and cruising with Carroll, family and friends. He was a loving husband, a kind father, and a friend to many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Vincent is survived by his daughter, Margaret Tisue, of San Antonio, TX; granddaughter, Megan McKibben (Dean), of Houston, TX; son Vincent Lozowicki Jr. (Sandra), granddaughter, Tessa, of Miami, FL; daughter Susan Ross (Alan) of Orlando, FL, and his nieces and nephews. Vincent was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carroll, who passed away in July, 2013; his sisters Stasia Rita Lattimer, June, 1997 and Jane M Ferris, May, 2014. A funeral service will be held at Beckman-Williams Funeral Home, 101 North Brevard Ave., Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 at 11:00 AM, June 14, 2014. The family will be greeting friends and relatives at a reception following the services at the Discovery Beach Cove, 300 Barlow Avenue, Cocoa Beach.
