Vincent J. Lukas 87, of Clearwater, went home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2010. Vince was born in Brooklyn, NY. He served his country in the Army from 1943 to 1946, as a Staff Sergeant in WWII, where his tour included India, Burma and China. During his service, he was awarded the American Campaign Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. He had a passion for life and his two favorite hobbies were Ballroom dancing and playing Golf. He is survived by his daughter, Marianne Mitchell. Services will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery on Thursday June 3rd at 2:15PM.
