Reverend Vincent Eugene Trunzo

August 20th, 1944 - August 25th, 2024

Reverend Mr. Vincent E. Trunzo, age 80, of Indialantic, Florida passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Palm Bay Community Hospital. He was born August 20, 1944 in Orlando Florida; the son of the late Eugene Trunzo and Anne Florence (Rapetti) Trunzo. 

Vincent was a Captain in the United States Air Force.

 

Vincent graduate from the University of Florida with a Pharmacy Degree. As a registered Pharmacist, he practiced for Florida Hospital/Advent Health and Holmes Regional Hospital/Health First as Director of the Pharmacy Hospitals and the many other Pharmacy associated with both not for profit hospitals companies. Upon retirement Vincent continue to help the owners of Specialty Pharmacy/Pharmacy Compounding Specialists in their business in downtown Melbourne. He taught a Pharmacy Technician class in Melbourne, Fla. Vincent was a deacon and a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus third Degree. 

 

Vincent enjoyed showing his High Performance 1978 Silver Anniversary Corvette & his 50th Anniversary Corvette, and his 30th Anniversary Camaro. He enjoying "Gator" football and coaching youth soccer & Indian Princess & Indian Guides with our children. 

Vincent is survived by his wife of 58 years, Maria A. (McManus) Trunzo of Indialantic, Florida, his daughter, Teresa A. Trunzo of Indialantic, Florida, his son, Eugene P. Trunzo of Arlington, Virginia; his brother, Ronald Trunzo and his wife, Kathryn of Helena, Alabama.

 

In addition to his parents, Vincent was preceded in death by his two uncle, aunt, and grandparents. 

 

Visitation will take place at Holy Name of Jesus, 3050 N. Hwy A1A, Indialantic on Friday, September 20, 2024 from 10:00 until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Cremation will follow the services. An inurnment will take place at a later date at Glen Haven Memory Park in Winter Park, Florida. 

 

The Family requests no flowers, but to make donations to Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Catholic Charities of Orlando, Alzheimer's Association, or your favorite charity in honor of Reverend Mr. Vincent E Trunzo.
