Violet Wynell King

Violet Wynell King, age 93, of North Fort Myers, passed away July 1, 2021 in North Fort Myers. She was born Oct. 15, 1927 in Waycross, GA, to the late Virgil and the late Annie Mae (Elkins) Coffee. Violet married Wendell Henry King, he preceded her in death on January 23, 2012. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church of Fort Myers for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Survives include her two sons; Bryan King and his wife Janet of North Fort Myers, James King and his wife Ann of North Fort Myers, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and many extended family members and close family friends. Graveside celebration of Violet’s life will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at South Florida National Cemetery. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Wendell. Memorial donations are suggested to be given in Violet’s name to Hope Hospice. Celebration arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Fort Myers.
