Violet Wilson Smith, of Kernersville, died February 8, 2016 surrounded by her family. Funeral services celebrating her life will be 11:00 AM Friday February 12, 2016 at Central Triad Church, 2935 Cole Road, Winston-Salem, NC. Burial will immediately follow the service at Mt. Gur Cemetery in Kernersville. Violet is survived by her loving husband, of over forty years, Ivan “Bucky” Smith. Others left to cherish her memory include her daughter Tracy Nicole Easler and husband Christopher Robin Easler; sons, William Craig Smith and Christopher Ivan Smith; grandchildren Jacob Isaac Smith and Lisa Jean Smith; sisters Shirley Noah, Debra Hiatt, Linda Wilson, Janice Wilson and brother Howard Wilson. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM prior to the service at Central Triad Church.
