Virgil Francisco Novo, Jr. July 13, 1930 - Dec. 4, 2017 Resident of Pleasant Hill Virgil was a native of Oakland and 60 year resident of Pleasant Hill. He was the beloved husband of the late Evelyn Novo; loving father of Sharon Oliver, Michael Novo, the late Richard Novo, John Novo and Joseph Novo; brother of Phyllis Grego, Also survived by seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Virgil was a retired sheet metal worker and a 70 year member of Union Local 104 and more recently was a volunteer at Sutter Solano in Antioch. Friends may visit at OAK PARK HILLS CHAPEL, 3111 N. Main St., Walnut Creek Sunday, Dec. 10th from 2 to 4 pm followed by a Vigil serviceat 4 pm. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am, Monday, Dec. 11th at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2051 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Walnut Creek. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Lafayette. Memorial gifts in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery 1965 Reliez Valley Rd.
