Virginia Hollifield Bullock Mrs. Bullock, 86, of Charlotte, NC, died Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at her home. She was born in Marion, NC on July 23, 1926, daughter of the late James and Vesta Hollifield. In addition to her husband, William (Bill) Bullock, she was preceded in death by a son, Skip Bullock. Mrs. Bullock was an active member of Southside Baptist Church for over 65 years and loved to travel. A gracious lady, she was a true Christian and an adoring and loving mother, grandmother, and faithful and caring friend. Mrs. Bullock is survived by her daughters, Kathie B. Summerville and her husband, Butch of Boone, NC and Pamela M. Bullock of Charlotte, NC; granddaughter, Celeste Smith and her husband, Lloyd of Boone. Funeral services for Mrs. Bullock will be 11:00 AM Friday, October 29, 2010 at Southside Baptist Church, 301 Elmhurst Road, with the Reverend Steve Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday at the church.
