On October 4, 2022 at 12:40 in the afternoon, Virginia Earle, affectionately known to those that loved her as Maw-Maw, Tone, and Toni passed away at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia "Trish" and Darrell Wagoner, located in Burlington, NC. She had been in the loving care of her daughter and son-in-law for 38 months. Born in Stanley, NC, one of eight children to the late Mary Elizabeth and Carl A. Noles on January 26, 1926. She was peceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Patterson C. "Pat" Earle; infant daughter, Baby Gretchin Earle; son-in-law, James A. "Jim" Wright; sisters, Martha Noles Watts, Mary Noles Sitton, Francis Noles, Catherine Noles Walters; and brothers, Elbert Noles, and Andrew Noles. Virginia is survived by her daughters, Patricia "Trish" Wagoner and husband, Darrell of Burlington, and Deborah Wright of Cherryville, NC; two grandchildren, Jena Goodman of Cramerton, NC, and Josh Wright and wife, Nichol of Winston-Salem, NC; three great grandchildren, Alexandra Koone of Lowell, NC, and Madeline and Lucas Wright of Winston-Salem, NC; and one brother, Bill Noles of Stanley, NC. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00AM Friday, October 7, 2022 at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, NC with Edgar "Eddie" Self, Chaplain of AuthoraCare Hospice, Rev. John Shields, and son-in-law, Darrell Wagoner officiating. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the people of AuthoraCare Hospice in Burlington, NC who began this journey with us over two years ago, especially Eddie Self for ministering to us and Maw-Maw too many times to count over the last two years.
