As a homemaker, she also volunteered in various youth activities, served as a First Aid Instructor for the American Red Cross, and as a Eucharistic Minister at Sacred Heart Medical Center. She enjoyed “playing at Bridge,” reading, tea parties, knitting, needlework and quilting with family and friends. Survivors include her husband; three sons: Joseph (Mary) of Spokane, Washington; Anthony (Pamela) of Canby, Oregon; and George (Anie) of Eugene, Oregon; three daughters: Julia Schewanick and Karin (David) Cary, both of Springfield, Oregon; and Elizabeth (Kenneth) Link of Canby, Oregon; 20 grandchildren and 8 great-grand-children; three brothers: John (Karen) Favero of Seattle, Washington; James (Barbara) Favero of Eagle Point, Oregon; Gerald (Susan) Favero of Sand Creek, Wisconsin; one sister: Deborah (Ted) Newton of Bothell, Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
