Virginia M. Lammers

Virginia M. Lammers passed away in Olympia, Washington, on November 9, 2016. She was born November 10, 1931, to Axel and Larene Larsen in Helena, Montana. Virginia survived two husbands, Gene Uhl and Herman Lammers. She worked as an executive secretary at Crown Zellerbach until her retirement. In addition, she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Portland for many years. She proudly sang in the choir and enjoyed a quilting group through the church. She moved to Olympia in 2011 to be close to family. She is survived by sons, Mark Uhl and Dan Uhl/daugher-in-law, Jane Uhl; daughter, Kay Uhl/son-in-law, Don Kneeland; grandchildren, Melissa, Ryan, Ben, Erica, and Kendra; great grandchildren, Ethan, Hazel, Olivia, and Hank; brother, Eric Larsen; and sisters, Jackie Livesay and Karen Erickson. She was predeceased by her parents; and sister, Alita Hunter. She was loved by many and will live long in their hearts.
