Virginia G. Morrison

Mrs. Virginia G. Morrison, age 75, of the town of Northampton, died Friday morning, November 30, 2012 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady. She was born August 13, 1937 in Mayfield, the daughter of the late Clyde and Blanche Dingman Johnson. She was employed by the former Coleco Industries of Mayfield. She had formerly been an associate of the "Red Hats" society. Virginia's survivors include: her husband, David R. Morrison of Northampton; two daughters: Theresa C. Darby John Stacy of Gloversville and Marie A. Ingmand George of Olmsted Falls, Ohio; a sister, Carol Smullen Gary of Gloversville; two grandchildren: Elizabeth Daniels and Dennis Darby; two great-grandsons: Parker Daniels and Preston Daniels; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also the loving mother of her pet Australian Shepard Blue Healer, "Kylie". The family will receive relatives and friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, December 1 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville, where a funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. R. W. Williams officiating. Interment will take place at Wells Cemetery, Wells. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Regional Animal Shelter, P.O.
