Virginia Perez

Biography Virginia W. Perez, 66, of Viera, died Friday, September 9, 2011 at Wuesthoff Hospice House surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Medina, New York to Gilman and Lillian Williams. Virginia earned her bachelors degree in Spanish Education from Lake Erie College in Pennsylvania. While studying abroad in Spain her junior year of college, she met and fell in love with Manuel Perez, where they married and lived before moving to Buffalo, NY. She taught high school Spanish there and in Anaheim, California, where her children John Manuel and Susan Catherine were born. They relocated to Florida where Virginia enjoyed working in the front office of Johnson Junior High School until her retirement. She enjoyed playing cards, bargain hunting and spending time with her extended family. Virginia is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Manuel, her children John and Susan, their spouses Jen and Josh, granddaughters Victoria and Olivia, sisters Susan Williams and Catherine Williams, nieces and nephews Christopher, Morgan, Alexandra and Adrienne, and her beloved dog China. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister and her presence will be greatly missed.
