Virginia RobinsonA memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Jan. 24 at First Christian Church in Eugene for Virginia Robinson of Eugene, who died Jan. 10 of age-related causes at age 92. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Worthington Presbyterian Church in Worthington, Ohio, followed by burial at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Worthington.She was born Nov. 24, 1917, in Philadelphia to Jeremiah and Ethelyn Lockwood. She married the Rev. Charles B. Robinson on Nov. 28, 1950, in Rutledge, Pa. He died June 16, 1983.She received her master’s degree in accounting from the University of Philadelphia. She was an accountant at Simmon Cole & Coke in Philadelphia from 1939 to 1950, and was also a homemaker.Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Cooley of Eugene, and two grandchildren. A son, Charles Jr., died in 2008.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to First Christian Church or the National SPCA.
