Virginia B. Shorey, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Sunday, February 19, 2006 at Westminster Suncoast. She was born in Hoboken, NJ and came here in 1958 from Washington, NJ. She was a Ward Clerk at Bayfront Medical Center for 25 years and was an avid Devil Rays fan. She, along with her late husband Frank, helped found the Northeast Little League. She was a member of North East Park Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, James G. "Jim" of Castleton, NY; one daughter, Jeanette S. Redmond of Gulfport; FL, three grandchildren, Robert J. Shorey, Jr., Tyler J. Shorey, James R. Shorey, and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Frank and a son Robert J. $(document).ready(function(){ });
