Virginia Nell Stephens

Virginia Stephens Virginia Nell Stephens was born June 6, 1934 to Clarence and Marie Maness in Corinth, MI. She passed away January 31, 2016 in Williams, CA at the age of 81. Virginia worked in school food service management for 40 years and taught nutrition at Shasta College. She was a member of the El Rancho Capay Women's Club and the Red Hat Society. She dearly loved and enjoyed her family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Carl Stephens; and brother, Bill Maness. She is survived by 2 brothers, Bob and Dennis; 3 sisters, Sharon, Shirley and Linda; 4 children, Jan, Lou Ann, Vicki, and Wendell; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10am, Monday, Feb. 8 at Glen Oaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Capay Volunteer Fire Department in care of Brusie Funeral Home.
