Ways you can honor Virginia's memory:
Virginia "Ginny" Thein Ginny Thein (nee Lynch), born June 17, 1947 in Jersey City, New Jersey to William and Helen Lynch, was welcomed by her Heavenly Father on November 26, 2011 after fighting a brief illness. Ginny is survived by her loving husband, Greg, of 41 years; children Janeen (Troy) McAvoy, Tim (Sascha) Thein, Michelle (Rob) Baer, and Cheryl (Rob) Motty; 8 beautiful grandchildren, Rachel McAvoy, Christian and Patrick Thein, Robbie and Gregory Baer, and Samantha, Nicholas, and Aaron Motty; her mother, Helen Lynch; siblings, Pat (Pete) Stellakis, Bill (Judy) Lynch, Eileen Esposito, and Mary Ann Lynch; numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones. She is predeceased by her father, William Lynch. Ginny graduated from Mary Help of Christians Academy, New Jersey in 1965 and married Gregory Alan Thein March 30, 1970. Together they raised four children. Ginny was a dedicated employee in the school districts of New Jersey before moving with her family to Melbourne, Florida in 1991. She first served Palm Bay High School and then Eau Gallie High School as the Manager of the Cafeteria. Ginny's dedication, warmth and genuine compassion touched so many lives of students and staff. Her strong work ethic extended from the school year through hurricane season and summer break. Ginny was awarded Employee of the Year in 2005, and her cafeteria received 15 consecutive Five Star Certifications under her leadership. Ginny was a gentle soul who was strong in her faith of her Redeemer, Jesus Christ. She offered up thanks and praise even in her final days and we know that she is peaceful and made whole again through His divine mercy. Ginny always had a smile and a hug for anyone and she would do anything to help a friend or stranger. She is a source of strength and an example of selfless giving to her family and friends. She was a true mother-figure to many and will be missed by all those whose lives she touched. Donations in Ginny's Memory can be made to Relay for Life.
