Virginia Gail Vasquez

Virginia Gail Vasquez August 23, 1947 ~ November 20, 2016 Age 69 She loved the outdoors, caring for her grandchildren, games, cooking, and sewing. She belonged to the 7th Day Adventist Church in Stockton, CA. She and her husband George Vasquez moved to Amador County in 1984, married for 44 years. She was very active in the community and completed service as a grand juror for the superior court, State of California, Amador County. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Faryl M. and Ruth Holden; her sisters, Farylene Murphy and Beverly Tibbedeaux; and is survived by her aunt, Joyce Limscott; husband, George Vasquez; her children, Trever Rond, Darin Vasquez, Devin Vasquez, and Lurlene Heaney; and step-daughter, Stacy Vasquez. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; and four nephews, Nathan Tibbedeaux, Eric Holden, Steve Holden, Kevin Rond; and four nieces, Roxanne Codog, Rochelle Hoak, Nicole Kemp, and Sonja Bair. A funeral service took place at Daneri Mortuary in Jackson, CA on Monday, November 28, 2016. Interment took place in the Garden of Tranquility at Sunset View Cemetery in Jackson, CA.
