Vivian Igel Freeh. Born 11/16/26 in Columbus, Ohio and died 10/26/2022 in Tucson, Arizona. Vivian attended Mass religiously. She was a strong, spiritual example of the Catholic faith, teaching by example and love. A bright light to all; she shared her attention, assistance and affection with family and friends. Vivian was especially devoted to ministering to the homebound. She went to heaven 21 days shy of her 96th birthday. She joins her husband, Edward, who died at the age of 84 in 2009, and two of their sons. Vivian graduated from St. Mary’s of the Springs with a Bachelor of Arts. Vivian and Edward were married in 1952 and had 5 children. They have 21 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren who will celebrate their legacy. They called Ohio and Arizona home during their many years of marriage. Vivian touched many lives and maintained close relationships until her passing. A wake will be held at Adair Funeral Homes-Avalon Chapel, 8090 N Northern Avenue, Oro Valley AZ 85704 on Wednesday November 2, 2022 from 5 and 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m.. A Memorial Mass will take place at St. Odilia Catholic Church, 7570 N Paseo del Norte at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2022 She will be cremated in Tucson and her ashes will be placed next to her beloved, Edward. In lieu of flowers, please donate in her honor to EWTN, St. Joseph’s Foundation or the charity of your choice.
