Vivian Harris Schneider

Vivian Harris Schneider, 63, wife of Stephen Douglas Schneider, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2019. She was born in Charlottesville, VA on April 9, 1956 to the late Vivian “Buck” and Lucille Mahanes Harris. She took pride helping youth in Kentucky as a social worker for more than 20 years. Vivian graduated from Roanoke Bible College in 1978 and many years later, with three children and a full time job, earned a Masters Degree, with honors, from Cincinnati Bible College. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Mary (Chuck) Hill, Frankfort, Caleb (Sarah) Herndon, Frankfort, and Sarah (James) Llewellyn, Louisville; her brothers, Oscar “Butch” Harris, VA, and James “Jimbo” Harris, VA; and her grandchildren, Noah and Phoebe Herndon, Lucy and Truman Hill. Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. www.events.lustgarten.org/vivian.
