COAKLEY, W. Joan, 76, of Land O’ Lakes, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2006, in Wesley Chapel. She was born in Union County, OH and moved to the Bay Area from Ohio in 1952. She was the owner of Joan Coakley Tax Service and was one of the original organizers of the Land O’ Lakes Festival, now known as the Flapjack Festival. She was a member of Livingston Avenue Church of Christ. She is survived by her sons, Randy of Hernando Beach, FL; Jeffrey of Land O’ Lakes; daughter, Vicki Venable (Mike) of Wesley Chapel; sister, Beverly Wagner (Dennis) of Live Oak, FL; grandchildren, Jackie, Terekita “Terri”, Billie Jean, Josh, Tyler, Jay; and 8 great grandchildren, Cooper, Ashley, Bruton, Alex, Joseph, Hailey, Drew and Erika. A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, September 30th at Loyless Funeral Home at 10:00AM.
