Wade Curtis Martin, Sr.

Wade Curtis Martin, Sr. (Poochie) was born to Wade Fuller and Mary Elizabeth Martin on January 14, 1955 in Memphis, Tennessee. United States Marine Coprs Veteran, graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in business management at Central Carolina in Sumter, SC. Retired from Sumter County Public Works and aslo worked in secured services fro Memphis Light Gas and Water. Wade served with the Salvation Army Men's Club as the Shelter Manager in Columbia, SC. He is proceeded in death by his mother Marry Elizabeth Martin. He is the father of four children, Sheila Lashon Martin, Wade Curtis Martin, Jr. (Doris), Lateasha Lashawn Martin and Elizabeth Shalawn Martin and four step children, Shoney Billups, Milton Byrd, Candace Byrd and Dominique Byrd. Wade has a host of cousins, grandchildren and great grands. He also leaves to cherish his memories his good friend and godbrother Marvin Richardson and godson Travis Richardson along with many relatives and friends. Wade accepted Christ into his life at an early age and was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and he loved to sing in the choir. He is currently a member of The Park Church in Charlotte, NC. Wade was a great person inside and out. He always knew how to lighten the mood and make his family laugh. He loved music and he loved to sing. He was a die hard sports fan of the Tennessee Titans. He was a role model to his family and community. Rest well, our beloved, we love you, but God loves you best.
